Brandon came with me to Sierra's Doctor's appointment in Utah.  I'm so glad he did because on our way back we were caught in a horrible snow blizzard. This guy at In-N-Out was so brave to bare the cold.  In-N-Out has become a tradition when we come down to Utah.  It is my favorite hamburger restaurant.  We always stop by on our way back to Idaho.

On the way home from Utah we had to drive through one of the worst storms this winter.  It was ok until we hit the Malad Pass.  It was the blowing of the snow that made the roads terrible.  Thankfully Brandon was with me.

This is my AWESOME neighbor Sister Ricks. She is such a fireball. The next morning after the big storm her and her husband were outside shovelling their sidewalks when Sister Ricks crossed the street and started to help her neighbor finish theirs. I was so inspired by her Charity. She doesn't stop working ever. I'm so blessed to have awesome neighbors.

Sierra has started crawling.  I will have to admit that when Corwin told me back in October that Sierra would start to move around by Christmas I didn't really believe him.  She wouldn't even lift her head up off the ground when she was on her belli.  I didn't see it happening, but I was wrong and I am happily eating my words.  She is not only crawling, she is army crawling all over the house.  Today she crawled into Conner's room and played with his toys.  Also, she is starting to get frustrated because she can't quite move around as much as Cameron.  This is all so AWESOME!!  In this picture she was trying really hard to find a way to get through the gate.  She is totally intrigued by the gate because the older kids are always heading down there.LOVE this Girl.  She inspires me every single day.

Cameron has this blood vessel (that looks like a red pimple) on his face.  The first time it bled it wouldn't stop bleeding for HOURS!!  it was horrible.  Well it has become a little larger and now and he is constantly picking at it.  We have to put this big bandage on his face to keep blood from getting everywhere until it stops bleeding.  You can image how fun that is!

I got the crayons out the other day and let Cameron and Sierra learn to start to color.  They both tried for a little bit and then Cameron threw them everywhere and Sierra just tried to eat them. At least I First got this beautiful picture from Cameron.

This year I really wanted to do a 365 photo a day challenge to help make memories of our life.  I might not post every day but I am taking photos every day with either my iphone or my DSL D90.

January 2nd

Kaylie had a project due the first day back to school.  It was a diorama of the last book she read which happened to be "The Wizard of Oz".  It was fun but a little stressful.

Sierra was having a lot of fun hanging out in her jumper.  She is really starting to bare weight with her legs which is REALLY exciting.

While standing in the long line at Walmart on Saturday night I was thumbing through a home magazine and came across this hutch.  I really would like one similar to this in my next house.

After a 3 week break from all therapy (one that was very much needed) Sierra was not happy at all when she saw Corwin.  Bless Corwin's heart.  She screamed bloody murder the whole time.  It does look like he has her on some torture thing.  It's actually called a standing table.  She is going to start this which will help her build some muscles so she can start to stand.  YAY!!!!

My girls were so excited to start dance again today.  Ashlynn put her leotard and tights on under her school clothes so she was ready when she came home from school.  When I pointed out how hard it would be to go to the bathroom, she decided to take them off.  Love this picture.  Love Gerti.  Love Infinity.  Love that my girls LOVE to dance.

A New Year

I can't believe that a whole year has already come and gone.  It flew by within a blink of an eye, but so much has happened in that one year period.  We have great plans for this up coming year but whenever there are plans it seems that a curve ball is always thrown our way. Our plans never seem to turn out the way we imagned . . . although, in a hard - sometimes gut wrenching way - the end result is always better.  Here is to a boring, easy year.  One to never forget!  Cheers.

Today we woke up and made plans.  Plans to go sledding as a family (sadly something we have never done).  It was a cold 8 degrees outside.  Because it was our day off and the last one before school starts again, tomorrow, we took it slow.  We planned on driving to the sand dunes up north about 45 minutes away; by Brandon's parents home.  We invited family members to meet us and then we began to get ready.  That is when the craziness began.  We couldn't find a boot or a glove or two pairs of snow pants.  The babies are teething and crying for an early nap.  Kaylie's diorama for school wasn't quite done.  It was absurd.  We moved the meeting time back another hour but after feeling completely stressed out we decided not to go up north but to stay here in town for our own sanity.  We went and bought new boots, new snow pants, new other stuff and made our way to a near by snow hill. (By the way, buy snow sledds BEFORE Christmas not after. They were mostly gone). As we drove over to the hill both Brandon and I were wondering "why" we were making this painful trek to go sledding.  As we drove up the kids eyes got big as they wondered what it would be like to fly down the hill they saw right outside the car door.  When they hopped out of the car and ran up the hill making loud noises of joy for over and hour (sigh) YES we decided it was worth it.
